Pay cash for gas
You should pay cash for gas rather than using a credit card, otherwise you will owe interest if you don't pay the bill off quick enough.
If you are disciplined enough to pay the balance every month there are at least two credit cards where you will make out. Kwik Fill gives you 5 cents off a gallon, Hess gives you 30% off a gallon for 90 days and then 5% thereafter. That translates into decent savings.

But on the other hand credit card gives you a chance to save if you buy gas very often. Besides it's not so difficult to pay off the balance on time.
